Annual Dues

Homeowners dues this year will be $95. As the development becomes older, this increase will assist in covering the expenses associated to irrigation repairs, tree pruning/removal, transitioning to LED holiday lights, labor cost increases, etc. Invoices will be sent mid-May, with a due date of June 30th. Please contact us if you have not yet received your 2020 invoice.

Addressing Unpaid Dues and Covenant Violations

As a volunteer board we strive to collect each household's annual dues in addition to addressing covenant violations that are brought to our attention. We feel this is important as both the covenants and annual dues are expectations that everyone agreed upon when they moved into Wyndemere. In an effort to be transparent on how the board addresses these concerns, in future newsletters we will be providing updates regarding unpaid annual dues as well as covenant violations that have not been addressed. This information will be shared in the below fashion:

Covenant Complaint

  • Complaint: Camper in driveway
  • Address: 12345 Abbey Way, Apple Valley MN 55124
  • Covenant Violation: Section 4.6- No resident shall keep a camper in a driveway for longer than 48 hours.
  • WHOA Action: Communicated with the resident via email and in person and asked resident to address the concern.
  • Homeowner's Position: Homeowner has currently not chosen to correct the concern.

Unpaid Dues

  • Complaint: Unpaid Dues
  • Address: 12345 Abbey Way, Apple Valley MN 55124
  • Covenant Violation: Section 7.1- Annual Dues
  • WHOA Action: Communicated with the resident on multiple occasions via US Mail and reminder notices.
  • Homeowner's Position: Homeowner has currently not paid two years worth of dues or communicated with the board regarding addressing the concern.

Mailbox Clusters

To help preserve the aesthetic appearance of our neighborhood, it is essential that all mailbox clusters possess the same architectural appearance. To support this, the WHOA will provide $100 to offset the cost of replacing the wooden portion of the mailbox cluster. The remaining balance of the replacement should be divided up among the homes in the given mailbox cluster. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to replace the metal mailbox with a similar unit in terms of size and color. WHOA does have estimates and contractors who can provide replacement.

Solar Panels

The board has received some inquiries about the installation of solar panels on the roofs of homes. Please contact the board if you are considering such a project. This will allow the board to share the summarize feedback we received that both supports the energy-benefits as well as some other potential challenges.
