Welcome to the Wyndemere Homeowners Association, Apple Valley MN

The Wyndemere Homeowner's Association serves the Wyndemere neighborhood between 135th to 140th Ave and Flagstaff to Findlay. This website contains the full covenants, maps and other useful information for residents.

Annual Dues

Homeowners dues this year will be $100. As the development becomes older, this increase will assist in covering the expenses associated to irrigation repairs, tree pruning/removal, transitioning to LED holiday lights, labor cost increases, etc. Invoices will be sent mid-May, with a due date of June 30th. Please contact us if you have not yet received your 2023 invoice.

Yard Signs

In 2021, The Minnesota State legislature made a change to the state law (211B.045) around political signs. This language specifically grants an exemption to residents in communities with associations (such as ours), allowing homeowners to post signs on their property. This exemption is for 46 days before elections and 10 days after. If you notice political signs from September 17, 2023 to November 12, 2023 please understand that these are now permitted by state law and the association will follow the state statute and permit signs during this time period. If you have specific questions about political signs you can contact Josh Waterman.

Mailbox Clusters

To help preserve the aesthetic appearance of our neighborhood, it is essential that all mailbox clusters possess the same architectural appearance. To support this, the WHOA will provide $100 to offset the cost of replacing the wooden portion of the mailbox cluster. The remaining balance of the replacement should be divided up among the homes in the given mailbox cluster. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to replace the metal mailbox with a similar unit in terms of size and color. WHOA does have estimates and contractors who can provide replacement.

Solar Panels

The board has received some inquiries about the installation of solar panels on the roofs of homes. Please contact the board if you are considering such a project. This will allow the board to share the summarize feedback we received that both supports the energy-benefits as well as some other potential challenges. More information available here
